Our new theme is Plants. We are focusing on the following Newcomer outcomes for this unit.

1. Seasons                                                                        7. Write a simple sentence

2.Animals                                                                    8. Identify the main idea in a simple story

3. Expressing Needs                                                    9. Make predictions   

4. Use regular plural endings                                10. Identify sequence of events

5. Use simple descriptive words                            11. Identify the problem/resolution in a simple story

6.Form a simple sentence                                     12. Recognize/use rhyming words
